Tour Description
The Private Accessible 5 hour Cozumel Shore Excursion provides unique and exciting experiences while visiting this beautiful Mexican port. This accessible shore excursion is perfect for those disabled travelers looking for something different than the run-of-the-mill driving tours.
Your accessible Cozumel shore excursion begins with your friendly, English speaking driver/guide meeting you at the cruise dock or accessible hotel in a private, wheelchair accessible van. Once on board, you'll make your way to Discover Mexico, a park dedicated to preserving the culture of Mexico. Experience the full spectrum of rich heritage, cuisine and even tequila! Entrance tickets to Discover Mexico are included in your tour price!
Next on your accessible Cozumel shore excursion, you'll visit an ancient Mayan village with an old church and a smaller accessible authentic Mayan Ruin structure, El Cedral. After your visit to El Cedral, your accessible Cozumel driving tour continues with a beautiful scenic drive along the coast line with time to stop and enjoy a traditional meal at an accessible restaurant with ocean view (cost not included).

Accessible Cozumel Shore Excursion Photos
This accessible Cozumel shore excursion uses a wheelchair accessible van with lift. The walking parts of this tour are step-free and mostly flat with paved surfaces. You will encounter a few mild hills and uneven terrain. You may encounter some mild rough terrain in certain areas at the El Cedral Village and at the Mayan Ruins. However, these areas are optional and can be avoided if necessary.
El Cedral village and Mayan ruin is accessible to view from outside. You cannot enter the ruin. The terrain is uneven but the wheelchair user can decide to stay close to the van and still experience the site. There is a beautiful old 1840s Catholic church located right next to the ruin. There is a flight of stairs leading into the temple but wheelchair users can easily opt to view the fascinating structure from outside.
