Private Accessible 3 hour Brussels Guided Tour
Tour Description
The Private Accessible 3 hour Brussels Guided Tour provides an intimate look at the charming, historic Belgian capital city! This accessible guided tour is perfect for the disabled traveler who wants to experience Brussels in a short amount of time, without having to worry about accessibility barriers along the way. Experience several city highlights including the UNESCO site Grote Markt, and enjoy a delicious traditional Belgian Waffle and/or Beer along the way.
Your Accessible Brussels walking/rolling tour begins with your professional tour guide meeting you at your centrally located Brussels hotel OR a designated meeting point depending on the location of your Hotel. From here, you will be escorted on a leisurely stroll along the charming city center, peppered with incredible architecture and history. Your tour guide will take you to the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Grote Markt, also called Grand Place. This main square in Brussels is lined up with beautiful old buildings dating back to the 17th century, including the opulent guildhalls, the city's Town Hall, the King's House and the Museum of the City of Brussels. Soak in the beauty of the area as you learn about the culture and history throughout time, reflected in this very place.
Another important highlight in Brussels is the popular statue of “Manneke Pis”, known as an emblem of the rebellious spirit of the City of Brussels. The small bronze sculpture was designed and put in place in 1618 but the current statue is a copy from 1965. Your guide will explain the funny anecdotes and stories with you as you snap some fun photos to show back home.
The final part of your tour will be spent enjoying some light souvenir shopping, and with an opportunity to enjoy a delicious local Belgian Waffle or Geuenze and Kriek beer. Your tour guide knows the ins and outs of the city and will share the very best places to taste the "true local treasures". Please note, the cost for these items are not included in the tour cost.
