The Private Accessible 4 hour Roatan Shore Excursion offers a unique opportunity to combine a scenic driving tour with tropical animal interaction. On this tour, you'll get a chance to see some of the most beautiful spots of Roatan, and visit a local Monkey sanctuary and iguana park.
Begin this accessible Roatan shore excursion by meeting your friendly guide/driver upon your arrival at your designated Roatan cruise dock. You will then board the van and begin your comfortable, beautiful ride to the Monkey Sanctuary.
The Monkey Sanctuary is a great place to visit for families. The curious and adventurous monkeys are eager to play and take pictures with you! The monkey viewing location has ramps that can be moved around to accommodate wheelchair users.
Your accessible shore excursion of Roatan will then take you to the popular Iguana and Marine Park. Here, you and your family have an opportunity to interact with the tame iguanas and visit the natural salt water aquarium.This aquarium is home to lobsters, barracudas, tarpons, seat turtles and other sea life animals of Roatan. The park is wheelchair friendly and you will be able to use a ramp down to the iguana viewing area.
Before your driver/guide takes you back to your cruise ship, you'll have an opportunity to enjoy a traditional lunch at an accessible restaurant (cost not included).

This accessible Roatan shore excursion uses a standard van or sedan, so it is necessary for clients to be able to transfer into the van. A step stool will be available to enter the van. The foldable mobility equipment will be stored in the back of the van.
All walking routes on this tour are step-free, most are flat and paved. At some areas you might encounter some mild uneven terrain.
