Frankenmuth CVB – Case Study
From 2024 to 2025
Frankenmuth, Michigan’s “Little Bavaria,” partnered with Sage Inclusion to advance accessibility across its historic and hospitality-rich community. In a 13-month initiative, Sage assessed 55 facilities, conducted digital accessibility reviews, and delivered five training modules for hospitality and attraction staff.
A Sage Accessibility Leadership Workshop provided long-term guidance for community leaders, building a foundation for ongoing improvement. By project completion, Frankenmuth achieved multiple Sage Certifications across disability types, reduced compliance risks, and enhanced its reputation as a welcoming and inclusive destination for all visitors.
Project Components:
- Conducted accessibility assessments for 55 facilities across hotels, attractions, and restaurants in Frankenmuth.
- Performed digital accessibility reviews for destination and partner websites to improve online visitor experience.
- Delivered five accessibility training modules for hospitality and attraction staff.
- Hosted a Leadership Workshop to advance community understanding of accessibility best practices.
